Welcome to Fang + Bone

I started playing around with style when I started college, got my first job, and had hardly a penny to my name. I really didn't know what my style was, but I started documenting my journey through fashion on my Instagram account in my senior year. Six years later, I've finally found some consistency in my wardrobe, discovered a color palette that really speaks to me, and have developed smarter, more sustainable buying habits that won't result in piles and piles of regrettable purchases of clothing I only wore once, only to be donated soon after.

In the six years I've been on Instagram, many of you have asked me if I have a blog or would ever consider starting one. I've had a video game blog for some time, but this is finally my first attempt at a style blog, where I'll have space to answer the questions you guys have been asking me to elaborate on: What are essential pieces every woman should have in her wardrobe? What is my style philosophy? Do I have any thrifting tips?

"Style and video games" is a good descriptor of who I am as a person. I hope this blog gives you more insight into who I am, and provides inspiration no matter where you are in your own style journey.
